Design Guidelines for Print Ready Artwork

  • Allow 5 mm bleed on all sides where images must be cropped on the edges

  • Convert RGB to CMYK and convert spot colors to CMYK if the colors are not corporate and the job is
    required in CMYK

  • PDF files should have fonts & images embedded

  • CDR files should have fonts embedded or converted to curves

  • Bitmap (JPG) images should be at least 400 dpi* Set black text and fine lines to overprint

  • Avoid using small text (below 7 pt) that is made up of more than one process color

  • Avoid using small text (below 7 pt) that is white, reversed out of a background that is made up of
    more than one process color

  • Text, logos etc. should be at least 5 mm away from the edge of the page.
